The leading crop protection company, previously known as Farmoz, has had a presence in Australia for nearly 30 years and launched its new brand identity back in July 2014.

In the last five years Adama Australia has launched a significant number of new products to the market, including introducing three new active ingredients. Novaluron, which is in Cormoran®, a unique insecticide for the control of many key chewing insects, Fluensulfone, a new Mode of Action for the control of nematodes sold under the Nimitz® brand and Metamitron, the active ingredient in Adama’s revolutionary new apple thinning product Brevis®.
Adama field teams have conducted thousands of crop trials across Australia, allowing the company to constantly test and further improve technology under Australian conditions as well as helping educate growers and agronomists on many existing chemistries which play a vital role in the sustainability and profitability of Australian agriculture.
The company’s focus on creating a dedicated AgTech strategy means they’ve introduced innovative new AgTech solutions, providing growers with access to cutting edge technology to support their crop protection needs.
Adama has also supported hundreds of future stars in agriculture through its Young Agronomist of the Year Award and ongoing sponsorship of the Adama Chris Lehmann Trust Young Cotton Achiever Award, recognising those who make significant contributions to Australian agriculture and the Australian Cotton Industry.
