David joined ADAMA in 1986, having served in multiple management and development roles. Prior to his current position, he served as Israel VP of Operations and the GM of the ADAMA Makhteshim and ADAMA Agan manufacturing plants. In this role, he implemented the five year plan for the organizations, prepared for the introduction of new products, and ensured the quality of products, production processes, and customer service. Before this role, David served as the Head of International Manufacturing where he established a formulation plant in India and played an active role in establishing ADAMA’s manufacturing presence in China.
In his current role, David is highly invested in bringing to life his vision of ensuring that ADAMA’s manufacturing facilities in China are operating at world-class level, and thereby establishing them as a significant asset for the company.
As VP of China Operations, he is responsible for the operations of the sites, companies, and plants of ADAMA in the country, driving excellence in operations, increasing production cost efficiency, improving product quality, accelerating time-to-delivery, and reducing the company’s environmental footprint.
David holds a BSc in Chemistry and an MBA from Ben Gurion University, with a focus on industrial management.
In his spare time David enjoys travelling and running.
