Eli Abramov joined Adama in 2012, bringing 20 years of executive experience in finance and management.
Eli oversees a global team that works to increase availability of Adama products at the moment farmers need them. He has developed an agile operations platform that enables quick reaction to market pull, thus providing better service to Adama’s customers. The company’s global operations and production that he oversees include thousands of employees in direct and matrixed reporting lines, 18 factories around the world, and a planned manufacturing and operational hub in China, which includes synthesis and formulation plants. His role includes overseeing production, procurement, supply chain, global quality and coordinating with environmental regulatory bodies. . Eli is a member of the group's Executive Committee, a senior management forum.
He is also a member of the Executive Board of the Israeli Manufacturing Association and serves as the Head of the biggest Union within the association responsible for the Chemical, Pharmacetical and Environmental Industries.
Prior to Adama, he served as CEO of Baran, Israel’s largest engineering and project management group, and served in various executive roles at the State Research Center in the Negev in Israel.
Eli holds a Ph.D. (summa cum laude) in Materials Science and Engineering from Ben-Gurion University.
On a more personal note, Eli is a strong proponent of giving back to the community, and serves as Chairman of the Board for both the Sami Shamoon College for Engineering and the Advanced Technological Center in Dimona (TEMED). He is an avid golfer.
