Joe Krkoska joined Adama as EVP Global Operations in 2018. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s global operations, including Corporate EHS (Environment, Health and Safety), Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Strategic Projects. He is charged with ensuring the effective and efficient operation of 19 sites around the world.. Joe is a member of the group's Executive Committee, a senior management forum.
Joe brings extensive experience and expertise in the global operations of an agrichemical business. Prior to joining Adama he served as Global Supply Chain Director at Dow AgroSciences for eight years. Furthermore, he had been with the Dow organization for over thirty years, serving in multiple senior positions including Head of Global Formulation & Packaging, Head of External Manufacturing, Site Director, and Business Manufacturing Leader. His career started in R&D, doing process development, scale-up and applied R&D, and also includes large capital expansions and start-ups.
Joe holds a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University, along with a number of executive from the Universities of Michigan, Harvard and Thunderbird.
On a more personal note, Joe has a long history of community engagement, serving on numerous charitable boards. His work includes build on Habitat for Humanity projects, community youth programs and school boards. He has also served on various economic development councils, and experienced the importance of partnerships between government, business and non-government organizations. He has served on University Advisory Panels for Engineering and Chemical Engineering, and continues to be actively engaged speaking on innovation.
