Coming together in diversity for World Food Day

World Food Day on October 16 will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the UN’s Food & Agriculture Organization. Inevitably, this year’s event is framed by the Covid-19 pandemic and organizers have chosen the theme of Grow, Nourish, Sustain. Together. The day will highlight the need for the whole of the food chain to work together to ensure safe, secure and sustainable supplies of food for everyone. There is also a call for more diversity in crop production.

To celebrate World Food Day, ADAMA is highlighting the role of crops in feeding the world and providing livelihoods for farmers.
