ADAMA introduces its first Area Business Manager in South-East Saskatchewan

Carnduff, Saskatchewan, Canada —  ADAMA Canada’s Saskatchewan team continues to grow with the addition of Kim Fowler, the first Area Business Manager solely dedicated to South-East Saskatchewan. The territory had been serviced by other team members before Fowler came on board. Now retailers can enjoy the added benefits of working with an ADAMA ABM based in their region.

Fowler says she feels right at home in her new position — she grew up on a mixed farm in Carnduff, Saskatchewan, the central point within her new territory. She has been working in the agriculture industry for nearly 15 years, and in her previous position, she moved between her home province and Alberta, working in sales for a large agri-chemical manufacturer.

“I don’t like being stuck in an office,” she says. “I love being out there, talking to different people and developing friendships with the retailers I meet every day.”

Fowler says she takes pride in the work she does, and is humbled by the position she finds herself in today. Her biggest challenge in her work is finding solutions that benefit everyone.

“There are so many different people involved in sales — the wholesaler, the retailer, the end user, me, the sales rep,” she says. “It’s my job to make sure everyone is successful. That’s really important to me.”

In the new role, Fowler will develop and manage sales and operations while building strong relationships with retailers within the region.

Fowler says she is excited to work for ADAMA because she believes in what it stands for.

“Simplicity in agriculture is huge,” she says. “They take a more streamlined, direct business approach, and I think that there is a lot of value in that, especially for the customer.”

When she isn’t working, Fowler spends most of her time with her family, volunteering with her husband and cheering on her three kids at hockey, gymnastics, piano, and dance.

We know Kim has the drive and experience to succeed as our newest Area Business Manager. Please join us in welcoming her to the ADAMA team!
