Carlos Danilowicz

VP, Latin America

“We are very focused on excellence in Latin America, regarding multiple areas and functions, including customer service, production, and business execution. We believe that the key to success is to always put the farmer first, to reach as many growers as possible across our diverse and complex market, and to deliver value together with simplicity.”

Carlos joined ADAMA in March 2008, as General Manager of Magan Argentina. In May 2012, his responsibility was expanded to cover the LAS region, which includes Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Chile. In his current role, he is responsible for 18 countries, from Mexico to Argentina (excluding Brazil), the commercial activities of seven subsidiaries, and four production plants.

Carlos brings nearly 30 years of experience, having served in multiple leadership and executive roles in the crop protection industry. His approach is marked by customer centricity, a focus on establishing and nurturing an infrastructure for sustainable growth, driving commercial excellence initiatives, and empowering people with opportunities for personal and professional development.

Among the main principles that have always inspired Carlos throughout his career is the firm belief with which he was raised, that one should always do their utmost to seek excellence, and that whatever you do – do it with transparency, honesty, and authenticity.

Carlos holds a BSc in Agronomy, an MBA from the IAE Business School, and an EDP from the Wharton School of Management.

He has always enjoyed playing various sports, having been part of Argentina’s national field hockey team, which he represented at a World Cup championship in Spain. Today, in his spare time, he enjoys rock climbing, skiing, and travelling with his wife and daughter.
