Walter Costa joined Adama in January 2016 as the VP of Marketing
and Product Strategy. For the past sixteen years Walter held positions
spanning commercial, innovation, strategy & marketing areas for
the Ag Solutions Division of FMC Corp, a Fortune 500 diversified
chemical company. His most recent position at FMC was Integration
Director, tasked with leading integration of FMC's US$1.8 billion
acquisition of Cheminova across Latin America.
His previous position at FMC was General Business Director,
responsible for FMC Agricultural Solutions Brazil's Sales, Marketing,
Strategy, Business development, Innovation & Finance functions.
During his career, Walter developed a track record of driving superior
profit performance; developed sustainable business growth strategies
and managed leading teams in the US and Brazil.
Walter holds an Executive MBA from Wharton, Business School, a
Master of Science / Agriculture and a Bachelor of Science /Agriculture
from the University of Sao Paulo.
