General Info
Diazol 600 EC contains 600 grams of diazinon active ingredient per 1 L of formulated product. It is a non-systemic organophosphorus insecticide effective against pests of cereals, vegetables and oil crops and aphids, thrips, caterpillars, whiteflies, nematodes, termites and cutworms on flowers. Use 1 L of formulated product per Ha.

Application Advice
Application Rate
1 L/Ha, 100 ml/100 L of water, 20 ml/20 L of water.
Application Timing
Spray at first sign of infestation. Repeat application after 10-14 days intervals.
Preparation of Spray Mixture
Dilute recommended amount of Diazol 600 EC with required amount of water in the spraying tank stirring well. Do not allow the spray mixture to stand.
Note: On roses, a trial application is recommended to check for plant tolerance of species and varieties prior to large scale treatment.
Safety
Re-entry period for flowers is 6 hrs/when spray dries.
Hazards/precautions
Wear protective clothing, hand gloves, face shield, and impermeable boots when preparing the spray mixture and when spraying. Avoid breathing the spray mist, contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not apply upwind and stay out of spray mist. Do not smoke, drink or eat while handling the product.
After Work
Change clothes and wash hands and face thoroughly with soap and water. Wash the spray equipment and any contaminated clothing carefully. Do not enter treated areas for at least 24 hours.
Disposal
Triple rinse, puncture or crush empty containers before disposal in a safe and authorized place in accordance with National regulations on chemical disposal. Do not re-use empty containers for any purpose. Pesticide spray mixture or rinsate that cannot be used must be disposed where it cannot contaminate surface water and ditches.
Wildlife And Environmental Protection
Diazol 600 EC is harmful to game, wild birds and animals. Keep livestock out of treated area.
Diazol 600 EC is toxic to fish. Do not contaminate ponds, waterways or ditches by direct application, cleaning of equipment or disposal of waste.
Diazol 600 EC is toxic to honey bees and should not be applied at flowering stage. Apply in late evening after bees have stopped foraging. Wash treated vegetables and fruits before use.
FIRST AID INSTRUCTIONS
Eye contact: Rinse immediately with gently running water for about 15 minutes, maintaining the eyelids open and consult an ophthalmologist or a physician. Get medical attention if irritation persists.
Skin contact: Remove the contaminated clothes immediately and wash thoroughly with plenty of soap and water. If a skin rash develops see a doctor.
Ingestion: If swallowed, give victim 1 teaspoon of common salt I a glass of water or milk and induce vomiting by gently touching the back of the throat with a finger or blunt object. Do not induce vomiting or give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Apply artificial and respiration if necessary. Get medical attention.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth. Seek medical attention where needed.
