It is a selective herbicide, active mainly as pre-emergence herbicide.

It effects begin at germination. It is not absorbed by the plant.

Oximain is active on broad-leaved weeds as well as grasses.

Oximain is available in the pack sizes of 22.5gms and 35gms.
