Disease Control

For more than 70 years Adama has helped farmers growing vine, orchard fruits, cereals and other crops to protect their fields from fungal infections

Pathogenic fungus impairs plant development, causing a decrease in both quantity and quality of harvest. Fungus damages plants both directly and indirectly, causing yield reduction and even worse, potentially becoming a health risk by producing compounds that are toxic to animals and plants. Globally, 10 to 40% of the food produced is lost to fungal infection.

The UN forecasts that by 2050, food production will have to increase by 60%. Adama’s fungicides are one way to help meet the food quantity and quality demands of the growing global population, assuring food safety and security.

For more than 70 years Adama has helped farmers growing vine, orchard fruits, cereals and other crops to protect their fields from fungal infections, bringing us to lead the market for Merpan®, Folpan®, Nimrod® and other fungicides.
