Partnership that Grows Together: ADAMA Romania’s Collaborative Edge

How our ‘Listen > Learn > Deliver’ approach continues to drive success in the field
Listen Learn Deliver in Romania

Great partnerships start around the table.

This was our vision when we invited Romanian growers for an evening of food, open dialogue and reflection.

We shared challenges and celebrated successes, discussed the realities they face in the field and explored practical solutions together.

These conversations reinforced the strength of our partnership and our Listen > Learn > Deliver promise. Here are some key takeaways from the event:

Listening: Grounded in Grower Reality

At the event, growers told us about the economic and agronomic pressures shaping their decisions throughout the year. Some said they were feeling stretched thin, and in some cases, even postponed input purchases. They also shared stories about reducing early orders or relying on short-term credit to manage cash flow.

Even with strong OSR profitability in 2025, rising costs and unpredictable weather made it difficult to plan with confidence. Securing distributor financing had become harder, limiting access to certain technologies.

These conversations revealed what growers need most: reliability, flexibility and tangible value. When solutions perform and make financial sense, they bring confidence back into decision-making, making it easier to plan earlier and farm with certainty.

Learning: Turning Insight into Strategy

While listening to growers’ challenges and concerns, a clear picture emerged: They are taking more time to commit, weighing risks and looking for solutions that deliver proven performance without complexity. They want confidence in their decision making and support that aligns with their season.

Here’s how we’re turning what the growers shared into action:

  • Simpler, better-timed offers: Early-buy decisions feel riskier, so we are simplifying our offers and timing them to match when growers are ready to decide. The focus is on clear value, fewer conditions and lower risk.
  • Proof before commitment: Sharing results earlier—before growers' scale—is key, so we are expanding local field demonstrations and trials. This allows them to compare performance side-by-side and build confidence before committing.
  • Stronger, more practical technical support: Timely, local advice matters, so we are investing in deeper agronomic training for our teams and sharing more real-time field insights, including broader use of AgTech weather stations.
  • A portfolio aligned with grower priorities: Cost control and risk management are critical, so we are sharpening our focus on OSR and winter cereals this autumn, while preparing solutions that respond to needs for Spring 2026.

Delivering: Preparing for 2026 and Beyond

The final step of our brand promise is delivering what growers need most, and that’s exactly what the Romania team is preparing for in Spring 2026.

Based on the insights gathered, our upcoming portfolio is designed to help manage risk, reduce uncertainty and protect profitability. The season will see the introduction of several exciting new solutions that reflect this promise: performance, reliability and flexibility.

Among them are Avastel®, Edaptis® and Cosayr®, products developed to address the specific challenges raised during the listening sessions.

Changing weather makes disease decisions harder.Avastel® offers flexible, broad-spectrum protection in wheat and barley, simplifying disease control without putting yield at risk.

Resistant grass weeds are becoming harder and more expensive to manage. Edaptis® combines two active ingredients to deliver reliable control, supporting confident weed decisions while keeping costs in check.

Pest pressure is less predictable from season to season. Cosayr® provides fast, long-lasting control of chewing pests, delivering confidence when pressure spikes and supporting balanced crop development.

Each of these innovations reflects our promise to deliver practical, field-tested products in direct response to what growers need to be successful.

The Road Ahead: Partnership as the Path Forward

As the 2026 season approaches, the insights shared during this event continue to shape ADAMA Romania’s direction.

Through it all, our commitment remains the same: to listen to growers’ reality, learn from every experience and deliver solutions that create measurable value in the field.

With shared insight, strong collaboration and new solutions tailored to local needs, ADAMA Romania is ready to help growers face the future with confidence.

That’s our Listen > Learn > Deliver promise.
