Romeu Stanguerlin

Bringing extensive experience in the crop protection industry, Romeu Stanguerlin joined ADAMA in June 2014 as Marketing Director, and since April 2019 has been leading the company’s operations in Brazil.
Prior to joining the company, he served at Syngenta for over twenty years, holding various leadership roles across multiple regions and countries, including Head of Marketing for the Andean, Caribbean and Central America Region, Head of the Commercial Unit in the Czech & Slovak Republics, as well as leading marketing, strategic planning, and sales in Brazil.
In his current role, Romeu is charged with the overall responsibility for ADAMA’s operations in Brazil, focusing on driving growth, implementing differentiated financial and marketing strategies, and enabling R&D innovation.
As based on his rich background across diverse markets and cultures, he deeply believes in the power of people development for creating great companies, and always says that “strength lies in our differences, not in our similarities.”
Romeu holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering and an MBA in Marketing & Administration from the Fundação Dom Cabral in Brazil.
During his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer, walking, and traveling with his family.
