Francisco López Aufranc was appointed EVP Latin America in 2025. In this role, he leads the company’s commercial activities across the region, with a focus on deepening customer engagement, unlocking new growth opportunities, and driving execution excellence.

Francisco brings over 20 years of experience in the agribusiness sector, with a strong background in finance, operations, and general management. He joined ADAMA from Syngenta, where he served as Global Finance Head for the Seeds Field Crops business. Prior to that, he led Syngenta’s Seeds LATAM South business and held various leadership roles across Latin America and North America, delivering commercial growth and strengthening business performance.

In addition to his industry expertise, Francisco brings valuable experience in investment management, business development, M&A, and market research. His international career has given him a broad, strategic perspective on global agricultural markets.

Francisco holds an MSc in Finance from the University of London and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Austral in Argentina. He has also completed executive programs at INSEAD and the London School of Economics.

Based in Buenos Aires, Francisco enjoys sailing, travelling and spending time with his wife and three kids.
