Fungicide
Mastercop
Mode of Action
The action of copper ions is attributed to its ability to denature cellular proteins and to deactivate enzyme systems. The mode of action might be that cupric ions bind to various groups including: sulfidal groups, imidazoles, carboxyls, phosphate groups and thiol groups, and this binding causes non-specific denaturing of proteins and cell leakage.
