Herbicide
Adaca

About Adaca
Adaca is a selective and systemic pre-emergent herbicide for the management of the resistant Phalaris Minorweed in wheat crop.
Mode of Action
Pyroxasulfone treatment drastically reduces the biosynthesis of the very long chain fatty acids (VLCFAs) and causes a build-up of fatty acid precursors. Pyroxasulfone is absorbed primarily by roots and translocated acropetally in the xylem. It disrupts shoot elongation by inhibiting meristematic growth.
Benefits
- Minimizes and simplifies the post-emergent herbicide application.
- One-shot solution for resistant Phalaris Minor
- Long-term sustainable solution for resistant Phalaris Minor
- Less weed competition results in better harvest.
- Excellent crop safety profile for wheat crop.
