Elias belongs to Pyrrolidines group of herbicides with capsulated suspension formulation and applied as pre-emergence for the control of economically important grassy and broad leaf weeds in crops like Carrot, Potato and Sunflower. The unique long residual characteristics of Elias provides an excellent weed management solution on these crops. Elias provide growers powerful and differentiated alternative for broad spectrum control of weeds. 

Mode Action

Elias is a member of Pyrrolidines a member of (Trifluoromethyl) benzenes and an organochlorine compound which is selectively absorbed by the roots and stem. Elias is designed as capsulated formulation so after application it uniformly spread on ground and form a layer and as moisture comes in its contact capsule starts busting and active ingredient starts working. Elias work as a carotenoid biosynthesis inhibitor that causes bleaching effect on emerging seedlings and not allow them to grow.
