Apple Solutions: Japanese beetle control

Popillia Japonica
apple image

There are reports of Japanese beetle pressure being extremely heavy in pockets (these pests are hitting Honeycrisp apples particularly hard).

A destructive pest, which can feed on a wide variety of crops, Japanese beetles are particularly challenging due to their prolonged emergence window.  Combined with the fact that they can travel up to 8 km from where they emerged1, control measures often need repeated.

CORMORAN® insecticide is a powerful option for Japanese beetle, labeled for control of this pest in both apples and bushberry crops.  A combination product, containing acetamiprid and novaluron, CORMORAN® provides knockdown plus residual insecticidal activity.

Pre-harvest intervals are 14 days for apples and 8 days for bushberry crops, plus activity on numerous other pests, which helps in management flexibility.  For more information please visit the CORMORAN® product page.
