Introducing CAZADO™: True Dual Mode of Action, The Ultimate Solution for Wild Oat Control in Wheat

Wheat growers now have a groundbreaking tool in their wild oat control toolbox—one with true dual mode of action to proactively protect against the development herbicide resistance in-crop. CAZADO™ is the only formulation in the field that delivers this formulation.

CAZADO™ combines a full dose of Pinoxaden (Group 1) and Thiencarbazone-methyl (Group 2), crop safe actives that each target a different site and are degraded differently. Both actives have the same persistence and control the same weeds to prevent the buildup of resistance. This only option for dual mode control is a flexible tank-mix partner with a wide window of application.

Proven Performance in the Field

Following seven years of small plot trials, CAZADO™  was trialed across 44 field-scale, farmer-applied trials in the summer of 2024. In those trials, CAZADO™  was shown to be 93% as good or better than the competition. The formulation was tested with 22 different tank-mix partners where it mixed well with no clean out issues or crop safety concerns.

With CAZADO™ , growers can confidently tackle wild oat resistance, knowing that it provides comprehensive protection for their wheat fields.
