ADAMA Canada Donates $7,000 To Help Improve Arborg’s Curling Club
The donation from ADAMA is going toward making the curling club wheelchair accessible, which includes installing an accommodating entryway, elevator and washroom. During the warmer months, the curling club converts to a pickleball club, resulting in hundreds of people entering the building year-round.
“Curling is a large part of Arborg’s history and we have a lot of people who come through the club, whether they’re part of a league, bonspiel, or they’re supporting their loved ones,” said Kyle Foster, owner of Foster’s Ag Service, “This donation from ADAMA will ensure everyone can enjoy the space regardless of their ability.”
“Agriculture is built on community and we want to support the people that help to make ADAMA successful in deeper ways", said Andrew Kaminsky, Area Business Manager for ADAMA Canada. “Initiatives like this are the reason we wanted to create All In On Your Stomping Grounds, and we’re looking forward to using the fund to continue to help improve communities all over Canada.”
