Is Resistance Ruining Your Results?

Act now: Future-proof your cereal disease control
Here you'll find more information on effective fungicide programmes in wheat and barley and why multi-site fungicides are crucial for combating Septoria and Ramularia resistance.

The Importance of Multi-site Fungicides

With mounting resistance to single-site SDHI and DMI chemistries the effective control of wheat and barley diseases is becoming increasingly difficult. ADAMA is advocating the inclusion of multi-site protectant PHOENIX® Fungicide (PHOENIX) in all cereal crop protection programmes – not just to ensure crops are adequately protected, but also to prolong the effective lifetime of at-risk single-site products.

New Cereal Chemistry

"Brilliant but for how long?
We have the science behind us. Multi-site fungicides should be the first thing in the tank. Folpet (the active in Phoenix) is definitely extending the life of single-site chemistry.
Resistance to fungicides will continue to be there. It’s all about how long we can keep new single site chemistries. They can be highly effective, but the question is until when. The new chemistry will do brilliantly well, but then we’ll start to see erosion because it’s still single-site chemistry."
