ADAMA Community Involvement Initiative
Our Commitment Shows
ADAMA’s Community Involvement initiative is focused on our external engagement with key partners who align with our purpose and value to provide a lasting impact on our community.
Brentwood Elementary School
ADAMA team members have the great privilege of introducing children to agriculture and teaching them how to cultivate food by planting a school garden each year which also serves as a community garden. We have also established a yearly coat drive and ongoing snack drive for the school. in 2024, team members from the Raleigh office will participate in Career Day presentations for 4th and 5th grade students.
NC State – College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
The objective of the partnership with NC State's College of Agriculture & Life Sciences is to support the next generation of the workforce in the Ag industry. NC State is one of the top Ag universities in the country and is located less than 10 miles from our US office.
Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and Farm
Our partnership with Inter-Faith Farm and Food Shuttle serves to provide fresh, local produce to nearby families and individuals in need. By helping to harvest and distribute locally grown produce, we reduce the carbon footprint of food transportation and food waste. ADAMA US has also helped sponsor two buildings and several large utility tables at the farm. When team members come to the farm to volunteer, they plant, harvest, sort, clean and package produce as well as prepare farm equipment for use by other volunteers.
