The trial, which focused on three key ADAMA products (ANTHEM^®, TOWER^® and CHROME^®) has shown that the inclusion of the additional active ingredients contained within these products provides a cost-effective return on investment by boosting black-grass control. In the short video below, ADAMA’s herbicide specialist, Holly Pratt and Michael Farr, regional agronomy manager for the South West, discuss how the addition of ANTHEM^® to a pre-emergence treatment of Proclus and Liberator provides a noticeable reduction in black-grass head count.

Holly and Michael also discuss the how the addition of an early post-emergence treatment of TOWER^® plus prosulfocarb boosts the level of black-grass control offered by a pre-emergence application of Luxinum Plus and Stomp Aqua.

They then conclude by looking at how the addition of chlorotoluron (CTU) as either TOWER^® or CHROME^® delivers a benefit to a base programme of Proclus and Liberator.
